Kamwest Oy

Kamwest Oy was founded in 1987 by Kurt Westerlund. In 1999 Kamwest took up co-operation with Ekström Oy, which led to the founding of Ekström Kamwest Oy. Kamwest bought 2002 all the shares of Ekström Kamwest Oy and since 2004 the name of the company is Kamwest. Mr Kurt Westerlund (M.Sc.Eng) is the managing director of the company.

We work together with leading companies in various business areas, acting as their technical sales organisation, with an office in the neighbourhood of Helsinki, Finland. We have also good contacts with the rest of the Nordic Countries and the Baltic States.

We offer our clients support and knowledge in their process of purchasing machinery, appliances, maintenance & modernisation parts. Our customers include power plant industry and process industry (chemical, mineral, metallurgical, pulp and paper industry).

Our principals' competence enable us to render our clients valuable advice and technical recommendations at the early stage of their projects. We can supply a single piece of machinery, complete solutions, or whole production units. Installation, commissioning, service, and staff training are also smoothly managed thru us.

Our goal is to act as a value-adding sales force cooperating closely with both customer and supplier. We are constantly looking for new companies to be added to our list of principals, in order to be able to provide best possible solutions to our customers.
